The terms that govern your use of MiniCabFinder. Last updated 21 July 2026.
Template notice: These are good-faith starter terms for a fare-comparison / lead-generation platform. Have them reviewed by a qualified legal professional before relying on them in production.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MiniCabFinder, operated by MiniCabFinder Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
MiniCabFinder is a comparison and lead-generation platform. We let you compare estimated taxi and private-hire fares and submit a booking request, which we forward to an independent, locally licensed taxi/PHV operator.
We are not a taxi or private-hire operator. We do not:
We are not party to the contract for your journey. That contract is formed directly between you and the licensed taxi partner that accepts your request, and the taxi partner is solely responsible for providing the journey and for compliance with its local licensing authority.
All fares displayed are estimates only and may vary. They are indicative and do not constitute an offer or a guaranteed price. The final fare is set and confirmed by the taxi partner that fulfils your journey and may change based on factors including taxi operator pricing, availability, traffic conditions, route changes, waiting time, additional stops, passenger requirements, vehicle type and additional services requested. We do not guarantee the lowest price, cheapest fare, or any specific saving compared with other providers.
Submitting a request through our platform does not create a confirmed booking — it is only an enquiry. A booking is only confirmed when you and the taxi operator agree on the journey details, availability and applicable price. Taxi operators may accept, reject or modify requests based on their availability, pricing, location, vehicle type and operational circumstances.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, payments for transportation services are made directly between you and the taxi operator. We do not process transportation payments, set taxi operator prices, control refunds, control cancellation policies, or handle disputes between customers and operators. Any payment, refund, cancellation or pricing dispute should be resolved directly with the relevant taxi operator.
You are responsible for providing accurate information, including:
Incorrect or incomplete information may affect availability, pricing or successful completion of the requested journey. You are also responsible for reviewing and agreeing to final journey details with the taxi operator, using the website lawfully, and not attempting to disrupt or misuse it.
Taxi operators using our platform are expected to maintain appropriate:
We may remove or restrict access for operators that fail to meet platform requirements or provide unacceptable service.
The website, its content and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use the website for your personal, non-commercial purpose of comparing fares and submitting requests.
We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, vehicles, drivers or services of the independent taxi partners to whom requests are forwarded, nor for third-party websites linked from our platform. Our platform may also use other third-party services, including mapping providers, email providers, analytics services and technology providers; these operate according to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for failures or interruptions caused by them.
Any reviews, ratings or feedback submitted by users represent individual opinions and experiences. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content, and we may remove content that is offensive, illegal, misleading, irrelevant, or in violation of these Terms.
Users must not:
We reserve the right to restrict access for users who misuse the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the provision, quality, safety or pricing of any journey, which is the responsibility of the licensed taxi partner. This includes delays, missed appointments, missed flights or connections, driver actions, vehicle issues, accidents or injuries, lost or damaged property, journey cancellations, changes in pricing, or failure of transportation services. Our responsibility is limited to providing the platform that facilitates communication between customers and independent taxi operators. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or suspend features at any time. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a taxi operator will accept or fulfil it.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the website means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
